It is nice that you don't have to pay all those hotel/motel taxes and fees, just a 3% 'tribal' tax which really helped the family budget! The coffee pot in the room had very, very old grounds in it from a previous stay so long ago that it was growing mold! The location is a long ways from anywhere, it takes a good 30 minutes to get to Durango. The beds were nice, the room was nice but could have been cleaner. The food wasn't that great at the restaurant we ate at, pizza. But the pool is nice and stays open until midnight which is really nice. It's just a few feet long and it dumps into the swimming pool and is not by itself at all, it's just part of the pool. It is not a self contained river that goes around the pool where you will have peace floating around. They advertise a 'Lazy River' for the pool but that's not exactly true. However, they did have a nice bowling alley, swimming pool and miniature golf that was not too expensive. We went again the next day and had a different server Des she was a lot more attentive and took care of us.This is more of a casino than a resort, so we probably won't stay there again with small kids. In my honest opinion I enjoyed the food it’s good there’s no complaint there service is a hit or miss depending who is your server. Kinda got a weird face from her when I asked for it, I just didn’t wanna have to wait on her much more than I already had. I asked for my check shortly after since I didn’t know how much longer she’d take to get that for us since it took her awhile to get our order. We enjoyed our food that came out pretty fast and surprised it wasn’t messed up or anything. I was irritated by that point because she ignored us and I had to repeat my order again to our server. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, we waited about ten minutes to order our food. same reason that I didn’t wanna be late to work but still enjoy a quick breakfast with my mom we had let them know we were ready to order when they brought us our coffee. Took them a minute to go acknowledge us, some what greet us, and than be seated. We felt kinda rushed only because I had to go into work last minute.
